Fabrication Specialist

  

H2O Innovation is calling all mechanically inclined people who love working on a broad range of projects, the Fabrication Specialistposition is for you. Our next colleague will hold a permanent & full-time position at the Champlin, MN plant. You will be asked to perform a wide variety of assembly tasks and will learn maintenance technician and millwright skills. 

The day-to-day:

Mechanically assemble pipes, equipment, instruments, and valves to frame structures with fasteners ranging from 10-32 to 1” diameter bolts and equipment up to 50 lbs;Glue PVC pipe assemblies ranging from ½” to 12” pipe diameter;Measure, cut, drill, and tap steel frames and PVC pipes;Cut & thread stainless steel pipe;Respect the project timeline;Ensure a good quality product by using your attention to detail;Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition;Respect and follow safety regulations.

The skills we are looking for:

Three (3) years of related work experience;Ability to read technical plans;Personal tools is a plus, but not a must;Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be autonomous;Be organized, rigorous and meticulous;Have a positive and professional attitude towards your team and internal and external clients.
