Full-Time School Psychologist

  • Employment Type: Full-Time (8 AM - 4 PM)
  • Start Date: September 3, 2024
  • End Date: June 13, 2025

Responsibilities:

  • Administer a variety of psychological and educational assessments to evaluate students' needs.
  • Interpret assessment data and write comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations.
  • Attend eligibility meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine appropriate educational placements and services.
  • Assist in determining the most appropriate tests and evaluations for different eligibility categories.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, services provided, and student progress.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with best practices in school psychology.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and best practices in school psychology.
  • Excellent analytical, report-writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and students.
