JOB DESCRIPTION

Description:

SCOPE:

Candidate will be working on equipment that is being built on the client site and being shipped to Cummins in Indiana and Cummins in New York. The candidate will be responsible for working within Allen Bradley PLC for program, troubleshoot, debug the lines for start up/commissioning. They will be responsible for seeing this project from the start and they will follow it to installation at the Cummins plants that are in Jameston New York or Columbus Indiana.

They will also do some work with robots and vision cameras.

HOURS:

40-45 hours in the office

could ramp up to 50-55 when on-site at customer

TRAVEL:

30% primarily to Columbus, Indiana Cummins plant or Jameston New York Cummins plant

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Controls experience (Candidate must understand how to troubleshoot, debug, program within Allen Bradley. They will be working on VFD's, IO blocks, start up/commissioning)

-Allen Bradley PLC experience (Being able to program from scratch, troubleshoot, debug within PLC.)

-Communication (Candidate will be overseeing junior controls engineers on this project and will need to be able to work with them from a technical standpoint)

-Manufacturing Experience (candidate must have experience working in a plant/manufacturing setting on equipment)

-Automation experience (candidate must have prior experience working on ideally powertrain equipment or working with general assembly)
