The EHS Training Coordinator is responsible for the transition of existing environmental, health, and safety training programs into digital learning platforms within the organization. This role plays a crucial part in promoting a safe and compliant workplace, ensuring that employees have access to professionally developed EHS training material.

Essential Job Functions:

Collaborate with subject matter experts to create digital training materials, presentations, and other resources. Remotely conduct frequent orientation sessions for employees at various levels, including new hires, existing staff, and management to educate them on the new digital learning delivery platform and related programs. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms. Assist the EHS manager to update training materials as needed to reflect changes in regulations, industry standards, or company policies. Maintain training records and documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements. Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in EHS training and incorporate relevant updates into training programs. Collaborate with other departments, such as HR, operations, and facilities, to ensure alignment and consistency in training initiatives. Work with site operations managers to compile injury data including lost-time and restricted duty information Update the injury management and return to work database. Assist the EHS department with other administrative duties as required from time to time. The role might evolve and require on site in person training, which will require frequent traveling to locations in the US.

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills :

Bachelor’s degree in the Environmental, Health or Safety fields is an advantage. Previous experience in EHS, training, education or a related field is an advantage. Knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to the grain industry and grain industry working experience is preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong computer literacy, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Learn upon, Intelex, SharePoint etc. Passionate about occupational Health and Safety. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
