Your Mission :

Blizzard Entertainments Overwatch 2 team is looking for a  Senior Production Manager  to lead production for Overwatch 2s Technology team. We are looking for somebody who has a passion for building amazing cooperative FPS experiences coupled with a keen eye for game development. As a production leader you will be responsible for working with technical leaders to plot the teams North Star and fostering the collaboration needed to turn wouldnt it be cool if ideas into reality.

What you bring to the table:

Oversee production for technology efforts across the Core Technology organization, from inception through live and into players hands Define the Core Technology pillar vision and goals in partnership with tech and studio stakeholders Function as the connection point between the team and overall project leadership, championing and advocating for the Core Technology team Define and maintain project roadmaps, milestones, deliverables, and staffing plan for product lifecycle Drive the completion of goals and facilitate communication, organization, and accountability across all major subject areas in collaboration with other teams and project priorities Manage a team of senior producers (including annual reviews) and provide guidance/support to ensure project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved Standardize process and status reporting methodologies for production in order to report progress and forecast dates for senior leadership and the development team Partner with all teams and production leadership to make informed decisions on work methods, development pipeline, and priorities Participate in production leadership planning/strategizing for the Overwatch team Represent Overwatch products, initiatives, and opportunities to support the company at the studio level. Promote and contribute to a culture of diversity and inclusion
 

Minimum Requirements:

5+ years of senior-level production experience in game development Must have shipped at least one AAA game (Preferably FPS) in a production leadership role overseeing a significant portion of the development team Strong organization, communication, and strategic skills Ability to drive high-velocity, high-impact development cycles, optimally balancing short-term needs and long-term vision. Able to work with team leads and directors to align and deliver strategic priorities. A self-motivated individual who takes the initiative and make sense out of the ambiguous Experience orchestrating work across art, design, engineering, and sound Able to work with team leads and directors to align priorities and create predictability in scheduling Experience supervising a sophisticated project and providing insight and influence into how to deliver more effectively and mitigate risks Strong project and people leadership skills Calm and deliberate within a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment
