Automotive Service Advisor

Job Summary:

Colonial Chevrolet of Acton is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations in our service department.
This individual will be responsible for managing service requests from customers, coordinating with the service technicians, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
This is a full-time individual contributor role with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Annual salary of $70,000 to $90,000, paid weekly

Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers with their service requests, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Conduct vehicle inspections and accurately assess the needs of each customer’s vehicle
- Consult with customers regarding recommended services and provide detailed explanations of all work and associated costs
- Schedule appointments and ensure timely completion of all services
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure efficient and effective completion of work
- Keep detailed records of all service requests and customer interactions
- Handle customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Stay informed of all current and upcoming automotive service trends and updates

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED, some college or vocational training in the automotive industry preferred
- Previous experience as an automotive service advisor or in a customer service role within the auto industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer applications and technology
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
