Our client is a distinguished law firm with a robust trust and probate litigation practice, known for providing top-tier legal services. The firm is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Probate Litigation Legal Assistant to join their Dallas team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to support high-level litigation work in a collaborative and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in managing a caseload of trust and probate litigation matters.
  • Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery.
  • Maintain case files and ensure that documents are organized and readily accessible.
  • Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
  • Communicate with clients and provide updates on case status as needed.
  • Conduct legal research and compile findings for attorney review.
  • Collaborate with the litigation team to support trial preparation and strategy.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in trust and probate litigation.
  • Must reside or be willing to relocate to Dallas, Texas area
  • Strong understanding of probate procedures, deadlines, and court filings.
  • Proficiency in legal document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and problem-solving attitude, with high attention to detail.
