We are in search of an Entry Level Buyer/Planner for our Middleboro, MA location. As a Buyer/Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting Sager’s Product Managers by handling various purchasing, asset management, and operational tasks. This position is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remote.
Responsibilities:
Procure products from designated suppliers to meet demand and maintain stock levels. Strategize and manage inventory planning and pipeline for low to medium complexity products. Proactively expedite backlog with manufacturing partners to ensure timely delivery. Identify and promptly update changes to supplier open order reports. Execute basic purchase order additions and maintenance functions. Collaborate with Product Managers to optimize inventory levels based on sales volume, forecasts, and customer needs. Implement stock rotation procedures as outlined in supplier authorization agreements. Assist Product Managers in managing supplier part number data within PeopleSoft. Liaise with ancillary departments (e.g., Accounts Payable, Warehouse) to resolve issues requiring Product Management department involvement.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent from an accredited college or university. 0-2 years of experience in a professional, industry related role. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to thrive in a team-based environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Strong capacity to manage high volumes of transactions daily.
