What your job will be like:
The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for developing, designing, and owning technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Providing guidance and direction for the future direction of ServiceNow is an important expectation of the role. The incumbent will apply best practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions utilizing the ServiceNow platform. This position will use the ITIL framework to provide technical assistance, workflow development, software configuration, customization, and web service integrations. This may include providing administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support.

In this role you will:

ServiceNow configuration and deployment: serve as primary developer for implementing ServiceNow modules such as IT Portfolio Management and Demand Management. Work with customers and MIS team to develop requirements and implement a project plan to roll out major functionality. Service Catalog development: work with ServiceNow customers to build out a service catalog in ServiceNow that implements common business practices with workflows and integration with JLab and other available systems. ServiceNow support: Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, processes, and procedures. Provide technical expertise and support for users, addressing system-related issues and conducting training sessions as needed. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to optimize system performance and functionality.


Qualifications We Require:
Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience working with an IT ticketing/support system such as ServiceNow, especially in an administrator/configuration role. Software development experience in a modern language such as JavaScript. Experience working with customers to define requirements, design software, develop, and implement a solution. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively across knowledge domains and organize multi-domain projects. Competent to perform assigned tasks and provide practical solutions to assigned problems. Has demonstrated initiative by seeking solutions to assigned problems and tasks.
