This is a full-time position offering direct placement based on employee performance, punctuality, and reliability.
Job Title: R&D Assembler
1st Shift: 5AM-1:30PM
1st Shift: 6AM-2:30PM
1st Shift: 7AM-3:30PM
Pay Rate: $33-$35 Hourly (depending on experience)
Location: Irvine, CA
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Vacation, Sick Time, & Holiday Pay
Research and Development Assembler: This position will be responsible for the assembly of medical devices in the prototype phase. This position will play a crucial role in the development of instructions, visual aids, and Standard Operating Procedures. Candidates must be able to follow verbal instructions and provide feedback to the engineering team on process development.
Requirements:
- Must be able to perform assembly and soldering responsibilities under microscope. Magnifications used during this process range from 6X-15X. It is not uncommon to go as high as 50X.
- Precision soldering skills are a requirement for this position. Must be able to solder and perform rework.
- Ability to utilize small hand tools, razors, tweezers, measuring devices, adhesives, flux, and soldering iron.
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be comfortable communicating with different department leads; as well as in a group setting.
- Work in a clean room environment adhering to proper gowning procedures.
- Keep work station and other manufacturing areas clean and free of excess debris.
