The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager is responsible for working with the Company’s leadership team all areas of the organization to create short and long-term financial plans. This role will analyze financial and operational results and evaluate the Company’s previous budgets as well as actual results to help create future budgets and forecasts. In addition, the FP&A Manager analyzes data and creates models so that they can project a company’s long-term growth and make recommendations to senior management that will lead to revenue generation, cost reduction, and more efficient operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Identify and understand business challenges; provide financial insights and projections to the leadership team and ensure reliable data and analysis is used in decision-making and planning. Partner directly with the finance team and LOB leadership to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews as requested or required; facilitate data extractions and report creations to meet the business needs. Manage the budget process for the company, working with all department and market leaders to prepare their individual budgets as well as coordinating the overall corporate budget. Manage budget and forecasting systems, including overall responsibilities for updating and maintaining the models used by the Bank to facilitate the budget and projection processes and to improve the bank’s decision-making processes. Evaluate profitability for departments, branches, customers, products, etc.Manage noninterest income/expense allocation process and metrics, including FTP or shared funds pricing models. Manage the calculations and monitoring of goal results for the annual incentive plan; work with executive management in setting goals for the annual incentive plan in conjunction with the annual budget process. Coordinate with market leaders to manage and report on ongoing loan and deposit projections to facilitate cash planning. Prepare and evaluate rolling forecasts throughout the year; assist executive leadership in managing projections and decision making by applying various strategic assumptions and scenarios to the projections. Identify technology and operational changes which can help leadership improve key financial ratios. Evaluate and integrate new and existing technology to improve operational efficiencies and service delivery channels. Collaborate with IT department to ensure proper Data Governance and Data Management for data utilized in reporting and management decisions. Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization including but not limited to acquisition analysis and planning; merger integration; system conversion and pre-conversion reporting. Prepare data analysis and assist with presentations that provide detailed analytics, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made. Adhere specifically to all corporate policies and procedures. Also adhere to Federal and State regulations and laws; including, the Bank Secrecy Act and the Anti-Money Laundering Act. Complete annual compliance courses. Adhere to all levels of our Service Excellence standards. Perform other duties as required.GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, statistics, mathematics, business analysis, data science, or other business-related field OR 4-6 years' work experience in related fields Six+ years relevant experience in business planning, data and analytics experience Three+ years of direct team lead or management experience Knowledge of Bank operations, products and services and other Bank operational policies and procedures. Experience influencing and managing communication to senior executives, internal colleagues through concise, official and regular updates on status, progress, strategies and roadmaps Advanced experience leveraging business intelligence platforms, data management platforms, or SQL- based languages. Excellent organizational and time management skills - ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent skills in personal computer operation; mainframe computer system; word processing, spreadsheet and specialty software programs. Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct personnel.Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Vision, hearing, speech, dexterity, visual concentration. A valid driver’s license is required. Must have the ability to stand, walk, sit and use hands and fingers. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The environment is a professional office with standard office equipment.
