Full-Time Nanny in Dilworth for a 5-month-old girl

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Dilworth in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 5-month-old daughter. The nanny would typically be needed Tuesday-Thursday two days will be 7:00 am - 6:00 pm and one day will 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, (guaranteed 30 hours)

The best nanny for this family would be nurturing, reliable, organized, safety-focused, detail-oriented, have great communication skills, and experienced caring for infants (preemie experience is a plus). It is important that the nanny is knowledgeable of developmental milestones and can assist in establishing a schedule and routine for their daughter. The nanny should foster an enriching environment and create age-appropriate activities to support her development and refrain from using screen time. These activities would include but are not limited to tummy time, daily reading, going for strolls, playing with toys, and other age-appropriate learning activities. As the child grows and trust is built, the nanny may be asked to take her to activities and outings within the community. Dad works from home in a designated office, the nanny should be comfortable with this and respect nanny/parent boundaries.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

  • Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

  • Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

  • Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

  • Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

  • Child’s laundry and changing child’s sheets weekly

  • Child’s meal prep

  • Unloading/loading the dishwasher and sanitizing bottles

  • Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

  • Picking up after the nanny and child throughout the day

  • Emptying diaper pail

Pets: The family has one dog who stays in the office with Dad all day, and the nanny will have no pet responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

  • Have a college degree or equivalent experience

  • Have a professional resume

  • Fill out a complete online application

  • Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

  • Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

  • Have a valid driver’s license

  • Have safe and reliable transportation

  • Have a minimum of three professional references

  • Be non-smoking/vaping

  • CPR and First Aid Certified

  • Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus

  • Must be up to date on childhood vaccinations

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

  • This position starts January 2nd

  • Legal pay is offered at $26.00-$30.00 an hour, Negotiable depending on experience
