Deer Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation is currently searching for a talented Community Liaison to join our team

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the highest quality of resident care available, support staff and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro HealthCare Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience and company results.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine appreciation and caring of elderly people. They will also have established relationships with local hospitals and the community.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and call upon referral sources such as hospital discharge planners, assisted living centers, home health agencies and community resources involved with geriatric care.

· Assist in the development of promotional materials for referral agencies and the community.

· Schedule and prepare marketing events in the community and facility as needed.

· Provide employee training in marketing the facility in a favorable light as well as in customer service.

· Monitor the satisfaction level of current and previous residents and families my conducting surveys and documenting concerns.

· Monitor competitor activities with regard to marketing, community involvement and services provided.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year experience in Marketing for Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Possess excellent people skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in public speaking situations.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Extensive local travel.
  • Ability to comply with the Patient Bill of Rights and the Employee Responsibilities.
  • Ability to comply with Company and departmental and safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to read and write the English language.
  • Make speaking presentations on long-term care, aging or other appropriate topics to local community groups.
  • Ability to create trust with multiple the Internal Clinical teams, complete bedside assessments, utilize internal documents and clinically accept residents for local and surrounding skilled nursing facilities.
  • Prepare weekly reports as required.
  • Promote internal efforts for community relations programs.
  • Must qualify for company insurance, pass DMV check, practice safe defensive driving skills.
