Frattallone's Hardware and Garden Center Assistant Store Managers

As an Assistant Manager, for Frattallone's Hardware and Garden Center, you will be supporting the Store Manager by directing and leading your team to the continued value we have with our long lasting customer relationships. Ensure that our Sales Associates provide exceptional customer service. We are looking for the person that can teach associates the product knowledge,listen to questions asked and help the associate understand the whats and whys of their questions. Teach a sales associate to understand the meaning of "building and driving sales" so they can be the best they can be. Assists the store manager with opening,closing,scheduling and day to day operations. Build and Maintain a positive energy filled work environment so that your team will also strive for the same.

A Successful Assistant Store Manager will:

Demonstrate excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

Be able to manage with limited supervision.

Provide good oral/written communication skills in order to effectively interact with customers, vendors and other associates.

Understand and interpret data presented in statistical or numerical form and be able to use the data effectively in assessing and coordinating the merchandise and operational aspects of the store operations, in the absence of the Store Manager.

Be detail oriented, handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, climb up and down ladders, reach, bend, twist, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs., handle large odd-shaped items, and stock items in overhead areas.

Be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
