The Vice President, Global Supply Chain is a pivotal leadership role within the Just-Evotec Biologics organization, overseeing the entire Supply Chain operation across multiple sites worldwide. This individual is responsible for strategic planning, warehouse logistics optimization, inventory management, and the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure the seamless delivery of products from production to end-users. The successful candidate will drive Supply Chain efficiencies, cost reductions, and operational improvements, aligning strategies with the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a global Supply Chain strategy that aligns with the company’s growth, innovation, and market expansion goals. Anticipate future needs and plan for changes in demand, supply, and logistics capabilities.

Warehouse Logistics: Oversee global warehouse operations, ensuring that logistics are efficient, cost-effective, and capable of meeting demand without compromising quality. Implement best practices in warehouse management to optimize storage and distribution.

Inventory Management: Develop and maintain a robust inventory management system to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained at all sites, minimizing waste and obsolescence while ensuring the continuous supply of products.

S&OP Process Ownership: Lead the Sales and Operations Planning process, integrating input from Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Manufacturing to create balanced and achievable plans. Use S&OP to improve business decisions regarding demand forecasting, inventory levels, and production planning.

Cross-Site Coordination: Ensure smooth operation and collaboration across multiple sites, standardizing processes where possible while respecting local requirements. Drive the integration of Supply Chain processes across new acquisitions and expansions.

Supplier and Partner Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners, negotiating contracts to secure the best terms and conditions for the company. Evaluate and manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery standards.

Leadership and Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of Supply Chain professionals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree is preferred Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry Proven experience in managing global supply chain operations, including planning, logistics, and inventory management Strong knowledge of S&OP processes and principles Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective communication skills and the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and business environments

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $195,000 to $250,000. Base salary offered may vary depending on the individual’s skills, experience and competitive market value. Additional total rewards include discretionary annual bonus, comprehensive benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision, short-term and long-term disability, company paid basic life insurance, 401k company match, flexible work, generous paid time off and paid holiday, wellness and transportation benefits.
