Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Mortgage staff. This includes reviewing Encompass screens in preparation for closing, updating final numbers from invoices and title work, making necessary updates as required by internal account representatives, loan officers or processors. The role also involves completing verbal verifications of employment, final approval checklist and notifying the mortgage closer when loans are cleared to close. You will also be required to order and follow up on changes to appraisals, insurance, and title documents. Keeping the loan officer/loan processor updated in a timely manner is essential. An important part of this role is ensuring compliance, by reviewing files and e-folders to check that all required documents are obtained prior to closing. Other duties include confirming appointments for internal account representatives, loan officers or loan processors, scheduling closings, researching the status of various permits, and database cleanup. In addition, you will be required to make copies of various loan paperwork and scan them into the master file. Occasionally, you may be required to type closing letters to customers and purchase thank you gifts.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Work Environment

This role is based in a fun and relaxing environment with a work hard/play hard attitude. The pace is fast and at times stressful, so being comfortable in such an environment is a must. You will be working in a nice, newly built building that is currently being expanded. Lunch breaks range from half an hour to an hour.
