  • Lead & Manage residential, commercial, and industrial project planning efforts and make sure projects get completed on time and within budget
  • Enjoy the variety of working in the office and meeting customers and crew at the job site
  • Meet with the customer and the Project Estimator or company President to review the project plans before starting the project
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager about the workforce needed for projects
  • Help with scheduling needs for the entire company
  • Stay current on the scope and complete knowledge of each project
  • Check-in with the Project Foreman or Lead Painter to make sure they have all the necessary equipment, paint, supplies, etc., to complete the project successfully
  • Establish & maintain excellent rapport with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and coworkers
  • Monitor the financial health of projects by tracking labor, materials, and equipment utilized
  • Work an average of 45 hours per week, approx. 6 AM to 4 PM, with flexibility depending on the day's projects

The Project Manager is the main point of contact for each project and is responsible for keeping projects on target for completion date, financial health, and customer satisfaction.

Our Ideal Project Manager:

  • Experienced: Must have 5+ years of painting experience or time within the construction industry; has extensive knowledge of residential, commercial, or industrial painting practices, materials utilized, and safety policies; ability to understand blueprints, finish schedules, color specs, and scope of work directives.
  • Leader: 3 years of supervisory experience within the Painting, Coating, or Home Improvement Industry is required.
  • Communication Skills: Someone with excellent interpersonal skills and effectively collaborates with coworkers, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Professional: Maintains a positive attitude, being kind & respectful with everyone, and remains focused on providing outstanding customer service.
  • Leader: Someone with strong supervisory skills and business acumen who can provide solid direction and advice to profit the company.
  • Analytical & Problem-solver: Identifies & resolves problems by gathering & analyzing information; ability to develop alternate solutions.
  • Detail-oriented: A task-oriented, organized person with high standards for handling all the details.
  • Computer Savvy: Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Active: Able to work in a field environment with inclement weather and uneven terrain, climb a ladder or scaffolding, work from heights, lift 85 pounds unassisted, use manual tools and power equipment, handle hazardous materials safely, sit, stand, reach, and walk.
