Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) is a Medicaid-funded program that allows you to choose your own caregiver. Participants and their families manage and execute care plans to meet the unique needs of the participant. This program is currently hiring for a CDPAP Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY:
Will maintain caseload that consists of:
Complete intakes as scheduled Submit completed Consumer packet electronically to Docuware within 24 hours of completed intake Complete PA intake and inform of all necessary medical requirements Train PA’s on the EVV during the intake process Request authorizations from insurance company Completing 90day reviews. Will be point of contact for the Consumer/DR Will handle any concerns with Payroll and HR Will assist management with any internal investigations Works with HR to efficiently activate/terminate Personal Assistants for CDPAP program in all regions Will work with Billing & Payroll Support dept. to communicate under/over utilization to Consumer’s/DR’s Ongoing education to PA’s on EVV Ensure we have accurate contact information for Consumer/DR’s and their PA’s Will assist in unbilled claims if needed Will handle incoming calls for the department and will be able to problem solve and trouble shoot issues Will conduct in home client consultations as needed Performs other duties as assigned or required by the CDPAP Director RequirementsQualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 1-2+ years work experience in healthcare
Associate’s Degree and 2-4+ years work experience in healthcare
OR At least one year experience in a related role

- Word Processing/Spread Sheets
- Data manipulation
- Systems development
- Multidisciplinary understanding of the corporation
- Critical thinking
