Role Summary

:

Volkswagen is striving to lead the EV transformation with its electric vehicle platforms. The North American Charging Standard (NACS) has developed into a regional standard within the space of a few months in 2023. This has significant and complex implications for VW Group EV vehicles (VW, Audi, Porsche, etc.) and associated charging features offered via the MyVW and Electrify America apps. The NACS manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the electric future for the NAR region.

·Align and synchronize a clear NAR NACS strategy with various stakeholders within VWGoA and charging suppliers. This includes all NAR production plants (Chattanooga, Puebla, etc.) and VWGoA brands (VW, Audi, Porsche, Bentley, etc.)

·Coordinate the VWGoA NACS strategy and implementation with the respective vehicle projects across various brands (local and FBU) in two stages:

oNACS charging with adapter for CCS ports (combine charging system)

oBuilt in NACS ports in vehicles

·Coordinate the software integration into the relevant ID. Software rollout plan (e.g. ID.S 5.x, ID.S 6, etc.).

·Define, plan, steer and track all cross-functional objectives and measures to implement the NAR NACS strategy. This includes product content, costs, financial results, timing, quality, launch, risk management and lifecycle.

·Balance conflicts of interest relative to the project's key performance indicators including returns, timing and quality.

·Prepare all necessary milestones and/ or decision papers to ensure the approval and implementation of the abovementioned strategy.

·Identify and implement NAR specific market requirements

Role Responsibilities:

·45% Create, steer, manage and implement the NAR NACS strategy. Ensure project targets (costs, financial results, timing, quality, etc.) are met. Synchronize all activities with product partners in the VW Group and devise strategies to maintain project targets.

·20% Establish and execute a cross-functional team - create an efficient cross-functional work environment among all involved departments.

·10% Coordinate the software integration into the relevant ID. Software rollout plan

·10% Presenting and reporting at decision making committees within VWGoA and VW Group

·10% Represent GY NAR in the respective NACS product committees

·5% Define long term goals for enhancement over the lifecycle

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Years of Experience:

·10-15 years automotive industry experience

·10+ years of experience in Product and/or Project management, including business case and milestone responsibility

·5+ years experience in Electric Vehicle (EV) project management

Education - Required:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering

Education - Desired:

Master's degree in Business Administration or Engineering German language skills

Work Flexibility:

Travels to business partners within the NAR and worldwide locations may be necessary
