Summary:   The Electrician position will perform the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems on Wind Farm, Battery Storage, and Substation construction sites. Requirements:   Works with MV cable installation and terminations.  Assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.  Plans layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.  Follows drawings to determine the location of wiring and equipment and ensures conformance to building and safety codes.  Uses a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.  Installs ground leads and connects power cables to equipment.  Represents the company to meet contractual requirements.  Ensures SAFETY requirements must be met.  Follows any other job-related duties/functions requested by the supervisor.  Operates and has general knowledge of equipment, Mini Ex, Skid steer.  Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.  Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.  Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.  Available for overtime on a weekly basis.  Safety Accountabilities:   Leads by example to show that safety is the most important function, ensuring safe practices while working. Qualifications:   High School Diploma/GED preferred.  2+ Years Heavy Construction Electrician work required.  Ability to travel 76-100%, valid DL is required.  Ability to demonstrate knowledge of various wiring methods including Control Wiring SCADA/PLC.  LV terms and the ability to read schematics/wiring drawings.  Medium Voltage Cabling Terminations is a plus (not required).  Ability to operate vehicles and equipment associated with the electrical trade.  Familiarity with safety rules, OSHA, and first aid procedures.  Anticipated base salary range: $26- $32 The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Per Diem of $100 daily to cover lodging, meals and travel during rotation. RES offers benefits that are effective first day of employment.
