Job: PLC SPECIALIST- Maintenance/Engineering
We are currently seeking a highly talented, permanent full time PLC Specialist to join our Maintenance/Engineering bakery team.
A qualified candidate must be able to demonstrate advanced skill levels in the ability to apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge including industrial control systems such as design, build, repair, test, and calibrate systems in a manufacturing or bakery environment .
Purpose: Ensures optimum performance of automated manufacturing systems. Inspects, investigates and trouble shoots mechanical and electrical and software issues associated with the automated manufacturing systems.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have experience with:
PLC’s: SLC’s, MicroLogix and Controll Logix. The Allen Bradley operator interfaces with PanelViews and Panel View Plus as well as Wonderware InTouch. Allen Bradley 1336 and PowerFlex Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s). Networks include Ethernet, DH+, DeviceNet and RIO.
Hours: This job is predominantly day shift hours and all weekends.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience equivalent to:
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
Pay will be based on experience and skill level.
- Must have at least five (5) years previous PLC experience: Must have the ability to develop programs to control machines and processes; including the knowledge of system interface formats.
- PLC Knowledge: (Hardware and software)
- Associates in Engineering or Technical Field required.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude, ability to read blueprints, schematics.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
