Looking for a Drafter to join our growing Aurora, IL team Looking for candidates with previous CAD and BIM experience wanting to grow their career. This role does offer hybrid opportunities.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship requirements.

Responsibilities: 
  • Prepare ALL work in accordance with approved office processes, formats and standards 
  • Work on assigned tasks, under direction of engineering staff, performing, as appropriate, engineering analyses and calculations 
  • Work on assigned tasks, under direction of engineering staff, preparing required documents in CAD or BIM 
  • Work on prospects for sales developing presentations using Revit, Tekla or other 3D modeling platforms 
  • Perform tasks accurately and on time with necessary guidance, and proactively seek advice on tasks as needed 
  • Manage other staff members, as required, when assigned as a Task Leader 
  • Meet task deadlines and adhere to budgeted hours 
  • Participate in external/in-house seminars and training activities/sessions 
  • Participate in the development of in-house processes, checklists and standards 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 
  • Associate's degree is highly desired, but not required. 
  • CAD and BIM software including AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla or equivalent.
  • Commercially available office software (Word, Excel, Adobe/Bluebeam, etc.)
  • Work from verbal and written technical direction from senior staff at a basic level 
  • Work effectively within a team environment with a group of diverse professionals 
  • Organize and manage own time effectively 
  • Organize, plan, and perform tasks effectively 
  • Read and interpret technical and construction documents 
  • Continuously strives to advance skills with effort inside and outside office 
  • Back check own work and strives for quality
