Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Millwright.

The hourly rate for this position is $33.62 per hour. The first shift hours are as follows 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.

What you’ll do:

The Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division of Eaton’s Aerospace Group has an opening for a Millwright. This position is based in Euclid, OH. 
 The Euclid facility has approximately 400 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace Fuel Pumping components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.
Position Overview:
• Load/unload, move, erect, install, assemble, disassemble, align and perform minor repair of all types of manufacturing, inspection or service equipment.
• Assistance may be given to other maintenance personnel Perform housekeeping and other job related duties as assigned by supervision.


Essential Functions: 
• Read layout drawings and manufacturer’s blueprints to obtain location, fabrication, and assembly data. , bracing devices, and overhead rigging to raise and position machines and equipment in the desired location.
• Perform rough carpentry in constructing skids, braces, and wedges and in installing guide rails, guards, and other accessories. Use a wide variety of hand tools and heavy duty handling equipment, such as fork trucks, dollies, jacks, block and tackle, scissors, and boom lifts. May use torch to cut metal, connect or disconnect piping or perform other similar work.
• Perform basic machine mechanical repair tasks on conventional equipment.
• Assist machine repair personnel in performing more complicated mechanical repair tasks on equipment.
• Perform several related tasks, involved with salvage storage, disposal operations and hazardous materials, following appropriate safety requirements.
• Set up and operate lathes, drill press, surface grinders and milling machines to make basic replacement parts for the equipment being repaired.
• Work with and provide assistance to other trades in performing repair operations.
• Perform work in other trades as directed.
• Perform Maintenance Utility duties as required.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. 
• Must reside within a 50 mile radius of work location; no relocation benefit is provided. 
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
• Minimum (5) five full time years’ experience in loading/unloading, moving, installing and aligning industrial machinery, utilizing appropriate rigging and lifting procedures. In support of the five years minimum experience a Millwright Journeyman’s card or official documentation from past employer (company) detailing work scope must be provided. 

Preferred Qualifications:
• Use micrometers and various gages.
• Must obtain a Powered Industrial Vehicle License within 30 days.
• Be able to work off of ladders and elevated platforms.
• Be able to do repairs on equipment.
• Must be able to service hoist and crane systems, including the installation of monorail and components.
• Heavy lifting may be required, with assistance when necessary.
