Buyer II- Japanese Language (Monday- Friday)

Job Summary:
Exciting opportunity to utilize the new MRP system within SAP to manage the procurement process, make procurement forecasts, check inventory levels, and inspect quality of incoming materials.
Essential Duties:
Will be responsible for optimizing purchasing volumes utilizing MRP system. Maintain tracking and communications on order volumes and delivery schedules from suppliers. Prioritize the management of inventory and expiration of materials in warehouse. Negotiate contracts with local/specific suppliers (price, lead -time, inventory programs, etc.) Work with Quality Control on supplier quality and quality audits. Develop internal relationship and work closely with SCM to manage purchasing of raw materials and delivery dates. Other duties as assigned.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
Education:
Basic/Required: BS Degree in Business or EngineeringEssential Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in SCM or Procurement, managing raw material purchasing Experience in working with international teams. Excellent computer skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)Preferred Qualifications:
Japanese language skill preferredPreferred Certification(s):
APICS, CPM certification preferred.Physical Demands:
