What Your Day Will Look Like

We are looking for a driven and organized candidate with integrity and grit who is willing to collaborate to fill the role of IT Coordinator in our Draper, Utah office This opportunity is ideal for someone interested in supporting the IT functions of a growing national engineering firm. The right candidate will be able to work independently and on a team while assisting clients across the firm with their IT needs. This position is required to be in the office with the opportunity to work remotely.

What You'll Do

Provide technical assistance and support for requests and issues related to computer systems, VOIP, software, and peripherals. Respond to client requests, operate diagnostic tools, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions. Communicate effectively through voice, messaging, and email to determine the nature of the problem. Understand and practice effective troubleshooting techniques. Walk the client through the problem-solving process. Follow up with clients to ensure the issue has been resolved. Write task-specific instructions and documentation regarding issues and resolutions. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. Procure and e-waste equipment per company standards. Maintain an organized and clean work environment. Partner with the IT infrastructure team and assist as needed. Participate in meetings regularly to inform and learn to assess issues and to identify and implement improvements for more-efficient operations. Understand our clients’ needs and prioritize efforts that lead to product excellence. Understand (educate) the broad role technology plays in our corporate initiatives and goals (become a champion)

What You'll Need

Associate’s degree in Information Systems or Technology. Experience in lieu of a degree may be considered. Two (2)+ years experience in an IT Help Desk or Technical Support environment. Experience with Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, OneDrive, OneNote, Project, Visio, and Windows 10/11.
