What You'll Contribute

The Product Business Owner will join the Education Services team to help drive growth and innovation in the Scholly Search product. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in business analysis, product management, customer experience and expertise utilizing A/B testing and a data-driven approach to drive growth in the product and inform business decisions.

What You'll Do

Define the business need, the “WHY” of the product.Partner with the Scholly Search Product Manager to establish a clear product vision aligned to overall business objectives. Lead a product growth team utilizing growth hacking methodology to generate innovative, creative, and low-cost strategies to grow the customer base.Responsible for ownership of the product P&L and forecast.Lead business strategy activities, including identifying key revenue levers, establishing pricing, and developing partnerships.Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track business performance.Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in business analysis.Mentor and coach team members to ensure their professional growth and development.Develop and implement data-driven strategies and initiatives to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

What you have

Minimum education, skills and experience required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop data-driven strategies.Strong business acumen and exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills.Experience leading projects and managing processes end to end.Experience scoping, developing, and executing business requirements.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.Experience in market and industry research.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Preferred education, skills, and experience.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Technology or equivalent certification or work experience.7+ years of full-time experience in Business Analysis, Marketing Analytics, Operations, Product Management, Information Systems or related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Experience utilizing web analytics tools (Heap, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).Intermediate to advanced skill in Microsoft Office suite applicationsSQL, SAS or similar data-oriented language desired but not required.Experience using Power BI or similar data visualization tools a plus.HTML, JavaScript, and CSS experience a plus.
