Scheduling/Staffing Coordinator

This role would handle the Scheduling of Nursing Staff within two of our local communities.
Duties Include:
Coordinate & plan staff schedules, taking staff needs into consideration. Coordinating all staffing requirements and scheduling of Resident Care Aides-HHA, Medication Aides and LPN Supervisor's working within the community. Patiently deal with last minute changes in scheduling. Deal with staff call-outs appropriately by following proper protocol. Assist with recruitment needs by advising Business Office Manager of open positions. Other reasonable duties as assigned by the Resident Services Director and Executive DirectorRequirements Include:
Should have excellent computer skills (MS word, excel, outlook etc.) Background & experience in staffing and scheduling required. Knowledge of medical terminology a plus Excellent communication & interpersonal skills are required. Candidates should be Highly Organized, Professional & Motivated. Strong problem-solving skills with ability to multitask & prioritize. Able to work well independently & as part of a team. Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Previous experience in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living or Community based Healthcare Environment a big plusWe Offer the Following:
