The hourly pay for the position varies based on the position you work. For positions involving guardhouse and scale duties at the local company, the pay rate for guard house will be $16.07 and for the Scale house will be $18 per hour. For this position, you will be working in both the scale house and guardhouse.

Full-Time: . 40 hrs in 4 days: Scale – ($18 then bumped to $19.28 once trained, must be computer literate, great typing skills, math aptitude)  Full-Time opening.  *weekends required 
Full-Time:  Flex Officer- fill in for vacation and sick times scale and guardhouse
Full-Time: Saturdays 6am-6pm plus Mondays and Tuesdays 2pm-10pm plus Wednesdays 10pm-6am

Full-Time: Saturdays 6am-6pm, Sundays 6am to 6pm, Mondays and Tuesdays 2pm-10pm

Part-Time: Thursday and Fridays 6am-2pm

Our Flex SECURITY Officers need to be flexible to work ANY shift

MUST have a valid driver's license.

MUST HAVE COMPUTER EXPERIENCE Including but not limited to typing and math skills, Microsoft Word, excel, and outlook. 

The position requires you to be standing/walking for extended periods of time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Desk-type security greeting all visitors, employees, contractors, and truck drivers as they enter the facility
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues
- Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations

 

Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Familiarity with security equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security – Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screening and background investigation.
  • Must have good computer and typing skills
