We are currently searching for experienced Sr. Level and Mid-Level Estimators  to support our  Disaster Recovery group  located in the Southwest Region (Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Texas).  This position will support our state and local disaster response and recovery team with its FEMA disaster recovery efforts, working hand-in-hand with state/local government and private non-profit representatives to guide them through the Public Assistance process. 

What you’ll be doing:

Required to sketch, write estimates, label, and annotate photos in Xactimate from field inspectors, according to program standard of work consistent with FEMA requirements in the Public Assistance (PA) program. All estimates will be generated in Xactimate online Make corrections on Xactimate estimates according to program standards of work May be required to perform damages assessments and inspections consistenct with FEMA requirements May be required to meet with homeowners to perform damage assessment inspection May be required to perform construction inspections Good internet connection Travel may be required or deployed to anywhere in the Southwest region Duration: 1 year

What you need to have:

Bachelor’s degree 5 years of experience with FEMA Public Assistance or other FEMA Grant Programs (Mid-Level) 10 years of experience with FEMA Public Assistance or other FEMA Grant Programs (Sr. Level)

OR

10 years of experience with FEMA Public Assistance or other FEMA Grant Programs (Mid-Level) 15 years of experience with FEMA Public Assistance or other FEMA Grant Programs (Sr. Level)

And

Experience utilizing Xactimate. Thorough knowledge of FEMA PA eligibility, law, regulations, and policies Bilingual (English and Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply
