Overview

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full time Sous Chef to work at Yankee Hill Village, located at 8401 South 33rd Street, Lincoln, NE 68516. Yankee Hill Village has 47 independent living, 59 assisted living and 16 memory support apartment homes. Schedule will be five shifts/week, 10:00am to 7:00pm, with either Saturday or Sunday plus one day during week off.

This position will pay up to $24.00/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

The responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including yet not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. Additionally, may be assigned to oversee progress of kitchen staff abilities, kitchen projects or special events, certain aspects of food preparation in the kitchen, inventory management and oversees the kitchen function when the Team Lead of Food & Nutrition Services is not available. 

Skills & Requirements

Two (2) years of culinary experience is required

Minimum 18 years of age required.
