What You’ll Do

Diesel Mechanic Job Responsibilities: The primary duties of a diesel mechanic include performing diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to find faults, analyzing diagnostic test results, and repairing or replacing engine, steering, transmission, braking or lighting system components.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspects and repairs vehicles with diesel engines.
  • Handles routine repairs, including oil and tire changes.
  • Interprets diagnostic test results accurately.
  • Writes detailed inspection reports and repair plans.
  • Collaborates with other diesel mechanics.
  • Advises clients on repair options and costs.
  • Completes test drives to make sure the vehicle runs correctly.
  • Uses power, machine, and hand tools safely.
  • Follows all motor vehicle repair shop regulations and standards.
What We’re Looking For

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • ASE certification preferred.
  • CDL certification preferred. (We can train)
  • Self-motivated and professional
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of Fleet or Dealership experience a plus.
  • Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team.
