Merchandising Specialist

Job Title:  Store Merchandising Specialist

Basic Description:

Merchandising product in retail locations. Manage stock and inventory while ensuring proper signage and display is in order to enhance sales. Working in an assigned territory, establish relationship with store associates, management teams and customers. Some overnight travel required.

Responsibilities:

Actively assist customers in the selection of product(s) Place items on shelving units according to the plan-o-gram Maintaining inventory by keeping merchandise down-stocked from overhead supply Ensure proper signage and POP is displayed appropriately Utilize company provided hand-held to manage and maintain inventory levels, make adjustments as required Build a strong supplier-customer relationship with members of the assigned facilities Make regular store/customer visits per schedule within an assigned territory Perform product knowledge training in all assigned locations

Minimum Requirements:

Ability to work varied hours/days as customer requires. this will include overnight stays Microsoft Office proficient Valid Driver's license and proof of insurance (meet company's minimum requirements) Able to lift 50 lbs. (may include lifting weight above shoulders as needed), bending twisting and standing frequently. Able to use ladders and carry product up and down ladder. HS diploma or GED
