Remedy is thrilled to be working with a Rochester manufacturing company with an urgent need for a Shipping and Receiving / Warehouse Clerk.

This is a position for an experienced Warehouse / Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This position is responsible for the assistance of all products shipped and received to and from Genesee Global Group production facility. This includes packaging and repackaging of products. As well as problem solving skills surrounding the organization of supplies and products.

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent / Direct Hire
Location: Rochester, NY

Pay: $18-22/hour DOE

Essential job duties for this role will include:

  • Checks incoming shipments for quantities delivered.
  • Counts number of packages or individual items,
  • inspects for damage to outer container and notes any irregularities on carrier's bill of lading.
  • Moves merchandise to specified areas and checks all items for apparent damage
  • Checks items against manifest and delivers all papers to proper office.
  • May deliver packaging of goods and loading of trucks or vans for shipments. Packages parts and counterparts properly to ensure shipping without damage.
  • Label boxes, match invoices, load trucks, handle UPS shipments and call trucks. Adheres to the QMS requirements.


We're looking for a Shipping and Receiving / Warehouse Clerk with the following background profile/skillset:

  • High school diploma
  • Three or more years' experience or equivalent
  • Forklift Certified
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Excellent time management skill
