Position Overview

Join us this summer (June – August) for a highly interactive and engaging internship experience where you get to work alongside various departments to develop your skills and learn more about the health insurance and healthcare industry.

Department Requesting: Undergraduate Student 

Interns will also participate in workshops, activities and other events organized by MetroPlusHealth

*Note: This is a paid internship program. Prospective interns must be current students attending an accredited College or University and must be 18 years or older to be considered. 

Job Description

Clerical Work – Batch daily faxes and update Weekly Inventory Sheet At providers request pull EOPs and OFFSET reports and forward to providers. Create CPI tickets for Provider file updates. Triage Cases in Salesforce Run claims manually through the pricing applications 3m and Webstract. 

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 keystrokes (20) words per minute. Be able to handle a large volume of work and multitasking skills.
