Vanguard’s College to Corporate Internship Program for Sales is an immersive and hands-on experience at one of the world's leading investment firms. Our interns gain real-world experiences through unique opportunities that will not only prepare them for a future career in sales but also empower them to make a meaningful impact. During this internship, you will have the chance to dive deep into the business model of Vanguard’s three sales divisions. By leading key assignments, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission and make a difference for our twenty million investors worldwide

In this internship program you will:

Develop a broad understanding of our business and gain deep insights into the department in which you are pursuing your project work within Vanguard's sales divisions. Whether it is Personal Investor, Financial Advisor Services, or Institutional Investor Group, your assignment will draw upon your experiences and interests in a way that adds exceptional value to the business.

Learn and practice sales skills that demonstrate how relationship management, creative thinking, technology, analysis, and problem-solving drive success in a world-class corporation.

Gain confidence in navigating the ambiguities of the industry as you identify problems, recommend solutions, and improve how the business functions.

Meet regularly with your department manager and internship program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorship, ensuring you have the support needed to excel.

Cultivate new relationships in a fast-growing network of dedicated professionals who are working ambitiously to do what's right for the investor.

The internship program is designed to provide you with the necessary skills and experiences to excel in the world of sales.

Upon successful completion of the internship, the opportunity awaits you to apply for a full-time position aligned with one of Vanguard's sales divisions or one of our Vanguard Specialty Programs. These roles and rotational programs promote networking, growth and development, a unique perspective, and an emphasis on leadership and client impact.

At this time, Vanguard is only considering candidates who will not require sponsorship or other immigration support to obtain US work authorization.

This program offers a full-time, paid summer internship, providing you with valuable financial support during your time with us.

The start date for this program will be in May 2025, aligning with our sales training week to ensure a seamless transition. We expect all interns to be able to start the last week of May without any late starts.

Acceptance into the program is contingent upon a successful drug-screening result and background check, ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and clients.

As part of our commitment to giving back, you will have the opportunity to donate your time and talent during a paid Volunteer Day with your intern cadre, making a positive impact in the community while building valuable connections.
