Job Description

Job Summary

The Golf Course Maintenance and Laborer position work on the diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction. They are responsible for semi-skilled grounds and maintenance work and perform related tasks as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Safe operation of equipment used for mowing greens, tees, fairways, and rough. Includes walk behind and ride on equipment.
  • Operation of standard landscape equipment such as line trimmers, backpack blowers, and push/walk mowers.
  • Working with team members on a variety of landscape projects such as loaming and seeding, mulching, irrigation and drainage, and a variety of beautification projects.
  • Safe and responsible use of golf carts and other maintenance vehicles such as trucks and tractors.
  • Routine manual labor required in the upkeep of the golf course and club grounds. This includes (but not limited to) the raking of sand bunkers, debris cleanup, and walk mowing.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • 18 years of age and over preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Ability/willingness to work early morning hours.
  • Willingness to work outside in a variety of weather conditions including inclement conditions when necessary.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
  • No prior golf course experience necessary.
