The Opportunity

Working in support of the Medical Devices US Sales Division, the Consignment Analyst (Contracts), Structural Heart will interface with Sales, Sales Management, Sales Operations, Marketing, and Finance to apply business management principles and financial concepts to that maximize the company’s performance against sales and profit goals and minimize risk. Position will support the Structural Heart (SH) business unit. The ideal candidate must proactively research, analyze, and interpret data to produce substantiated recommendations and to work effectively in a high-pressure, high-demand sales support environment. 

What You’ll Do

Consignment contract development and execution for all five (5) Structural Heart franchises in the US. Owns consignment contract creation from start to finish – collaborative effort with sales team to define par level needs, execution of required internal review for approval, documentation of proper approval, and final creation of outbound contract offering to end customer. Work within audit guidelines for contract approval and contract creation. Customer service mind frame and skill sets to support the field sales team and their consignment contracting needs. Supports Manager and business operations partners to execute improvement programs to streamline the flow of various system operations and processes. Follows all management approved processes and procedures; alerts management when circumstances require deviation to the approved processes and procedures. Works directly with field sales, customer service, and supply chain. Assists with training field sales, typically on a day-to-day basis, on tools, policies, and procedures. Execute analysis of consigned product and contract execution. Perform quantitative analysis and provide recommendations and consultative support to area and regional sales leaders to achieve desired goals. Provides reports and analysis to department and senior management as requested. Must have well-honed sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree combined with 3+ years’ experience in business, supply chain, or medical device contracting or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

2 or 4-year degree in Supply Chain or Business is preferred. Consignment inventory management preferred. Previous experience in a contracts/consignment role within the medical device industry. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously: organization, attention to detail, ability to work under general supervision, superior communication and presentation skills, deal with unresolved issues, and effectively communicating and maintaining rapport with Sales Representatives and Managers and all levels of personnel within the Structural Heart and Enterprise Accounts divisions. Advanced proficiency in the use of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Proficiency in the use of Salesforce and/or Conga. Project management experience. High degree of originality and ingenuity.
