Dr. Alexandra Naba is seeking atalented candidate to fill the role of technican interested to work in alaboratory at the cutting edge of biomedical successful candidatewill join a dynamic team and will participate actively in the day-to-daymanagement of the lab and contribute to the performance of various collaborativeprojects.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine cell biology and biochemistry in support of multiple projects Keep detailed records of experimental procedures and results Responsible for ordering of laboratory supplies Maintain laboratory stocks and inventories Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, genetics, bioengineering, or computational biology. A minimum of 3 years of related research experience.  be passionate about research, very organized, and show enthusiasm for developing new skills and working in a collaborative and dynamic environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency with Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in some of the following techniques is preferred: ); mammalian cell culture; protein biochemistry (western blotting, immunoprecipitation, protein concentration measurement, protein purification, mass spectrometry); microscopy (immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistryPCR; sequencing. Prior experience in working with mice (husbandry, genotyping) is a plus.

This position is ideal for entry-levelcandidates seeking to gain research experience before applying to medical orgraduate school.
