Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

·Dispatches Police Officers, Security Officers, and other personnel to assist community members by gathering information via phone, radio, computers, alarms, and monitors.

·Monitors alarmed areas, fire systems, cameras, other local police agencies,and area weather conditions by viewing and listening to computers, video monitors, printers, and radios.

·Processes, enters, maintains, and distributes police records.

·Obtains, dispatches, enters, and cancels crime information on vehicles, persons, and property by using the computer to access the CCIC/NCIC.

·Initiates confirmation of warrants and coordination of in-custody transports.

·Operates various equipment daily and reports malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor or personnel.
