Pilatus is hiring an Upholstery and Trim Technician to join our aircraft completions team in Broomfield, CO. For this role, you will fabricate, assemble, and sew top-of-the-line materials and soft-goods to construct the customized interior furnishings that go into our market-leading business aircraft, the PC-12 NGX single-engine turboprop and the PC-24 Super Versatile Jet. What you do

Performs incoming inspections of materials including fabric, foam, leather, ultra-leather, and vinylMeasures, marks, and cuts materials to drawings and work instructionsBonds materials using various processes and adhesivesApplies and finish wraps materials to composite and kydex interior panelsSews leather and other finish materials prior to applicationMaintains labor tracking and job card/task sign-offs within ERP/MRP systemFollows safety policies and uses required personal protective equipment in accordance with company and government regulations and guidelines
­Other Duties/Responsibilities

Works with Leads and higher skilled technicians to develop and refine skills and techniques
Performs all assigned tasks in accordance with Pilatus quality standards
Fabricates aircraft carpet using cutting, binding, and serging machines
Maintains a clean, safe, and healthy work area
Assists coworkers and other departments to successfully perform job tasks when needed
Performs other related duties as assigned by Lead or Manager

What you bring

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Two (2) years related trade school or vocational degree preferredDemonstrated craftsman-level abilities and quality, and a minimum of two (2) years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to use hand tools, adhesive spray gun, industrial sewing machine, and/or other specialized equipmentAbility to use measuring tools and perform basic math computationsAbility to read, understand, and adhere to engineering drawings, tech specs, and other relevant documentsEye for precision and attention to detailsAble work in restricted spaces, and lift up to 40 poundsRegular, reliable attendance required, and willingness to work overtime and other shifts as neededProficiency in general computer use and MS Office software, including Outlook, Word, and ExcelMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishMust qualify as a U.S. person in compliance with ITAR 22 CFR 120.15
