Rose-Hulman Institute ofTechnology has a great opportunity for a Plumber who would like to join our Facilitiesteam and be a key member of our success.
As a Plumber, you will assemble,install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, anddrainage systems. You will repair and maintain water piping, soil waste andvent piping for all plumbing fixtures and appurtenances as per the plumbingcodes and regulations of the City of Terre Haute, State of Indiana, and IndianaBuilding Codes as well as the fire protection piping, safety equipment, andlawn sprinkler systems. As a Plumber you will perform routine work and assistsenior staff on complex projects.
Qualified candidates will holda High School Diploma and will hold a Journeyman’s Plumber’s License as well ashave two to four years of related experience that includes journey-levelplumber/fitter in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operation. Successfulcompletion of pre-employment screenings that include a background check, motorvehicle report, and physical ability assessment are required of the selectedfinalist(s). In addition to the required qualifications, preferred candidateswill have excellent organizational and time management skills. Preferredcandidates will also exhibit the ability to follow instructions fromsupervisors or senior maintenance workers.
