I am the system medical director for Sound Physicians emergency medicine (EM) practice at Via Christi Pittsburg in Pittsburg, Kansas. I've proudly been a part of Sound for the past three years, and I welcome physician assistants who seek new opportunities or are embarking on a career change. - We are an established, close-knit team of six physicians and two advanced practice providers who work and communicate well with each other.

Practice
- We are a community-based hospital with a 16-bed emergency department, seeing over 19,000 visits annually.
- We are looking for emergency medicine or family medicine with emergency medicine experience and board-certified/eligible physicians.
- Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, we offer a flexible schedule. We are always there to support each other when covering shifts.?Currently, our shift times are 6 am-6 pm.
- Benefit from robust subspecialty support and imaging services, ensuring exceptional care and diagnostics for our patients.
- Expected annual salary based on 144 hours per month is $121,000.
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability, 401k with match, paid medical malpractice and tail coverage, and annual CME allowance.
