Associate Athletic Trainer

Job Posting Summary

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:  

Supervise/Provide coverage and care of teams for practices and games (will involve some travel and work on weekends). Work with the Team Physician for the Health Care of the Student Athletes. Create and maintain accurate records of athletic injuries and rehabilitation. Assist with administrative tasks required for athletic injury insurance claims. Assist in maintaining a safe and clean Athletic Training Room Mentor interns from Mercy University’s Exercise Science Program Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Education Requirements:  

Maintain NATA BOC certification Maintain Athletic Trainer's license in the state of New York. Bachelor's degree required.  Physical/Other Requirements:  Must be able to meet all general health requirements for the position as per University policies. Must be able to push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs.  Compensation offered will be commensurate with the educational background and work experience of the individual.
