Job Overview

The Maintenance Technician II position performs a lead role in addition to a variety of general maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing, minor electrical, painting and patching drywall. Takes responsibility for ensuring maintenance of building structures as appropriate. The incumbent may provide direction, establish priorities, assign tasks, coordinate work projects and/or monitor the work of other employees. Assist the Director of Environment of Care and Facilities Manager as needed in completing building projects and upgrades.

Minimum Requirements

1. High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

2. Minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training in use of appropriate maintenance equipment required.

3. Experience in handling hazardous materials/situations.

4. Bilingual: English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese depending on location preferred.
