Full-Time Dealership Accountant I Needed

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EXPERIENCED DEALERSHIP ACCOUNTANT I

As a Dealership Accountant I, there are many duties in which you oversee. You are responsible for providing analytical reports and data requests in a timely manner. You provide excellent customer service and maintain vendor/customer/Team Member relations. You complete monthly bank account reconciliations for all 8 locations. You are able to review, research and correct transactions through general journal entries. You will assist in calculation and submission of payroll related items, including general ledger data imports and you will submit and audit sales tax returns. You will work with a dynamic accounting team and help assist in training as well. This is just a snapshot of what this important role provides to our team

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN DEALERSHIP ACCOUNTANT I

Knowledge of automotive or RV Dealership accounting systems highly desired; leadership experience a plus. 4+ years of experience working in the accounting field or a combination of experience and education. Previous experience with sales and use tax submissions, fixed asset/depreciation, real and personal property tax submission Detail oriented and ability to efficiently analyze data. Previous experience working in a team atmosphere. Expert or Proficient level of knowledge in MS Office applications in maintaining calendars, word processing, and spreadsheets (MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
