We are seeking a Registered Nurse ( RN) – Surg/OR – Pre/Post to: 

Be responsible for independent peri-anesthetic management of a complex, varied surgical population. Develop a therapeutic relationship by establishing trust and enabling the patient and/or family to verbalize the requirements for care comfortably. 

Education:

Minimum - Associates Degree – Nursing (ADN).

Preferred – Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BSN).

Work Experience:

Minimum – Six (6) months of RN experience.

Preferred – 

Experience working pre/post operatively with varied surgical patient populations. Emergency nursing, critical care, medical/surgical, or ambulatory surgery center experience. Moderate sedation and cardiac monitoring experience.  One (1) year or more of RN experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations. Basic Life Support/CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) if assigned to work in the PACU.

Preferred – Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
