Reporting to the Executive Pastry Chefresponsibilities and essential job functions include but are notlimited to thefollowing:             

Responsibilities

  • Understandthe importance and demonstrate a commitment to our Our CulinaryCulture.
  • As a Pastry Cook you will display anopenness and willingness to learn all things pertaining to yourprofessional development.
  • Provide fullcooperation to the Sous Chef and Chef de Parties on duty to ensurethe highest level of production.
  • Have fullknowledge of all pastry menu items syllabus daily features andpromotions as it applies to youroperation.
  • Ensure all food is preparedaccording to the recipes and standards specified by the ExecutivePastry Chef this includes quality checks and tasting all food priorto it being served.
  • Ensure the cleanliness andmaintenance of all work areas utensils andequipment.
  • Follow kitchen policies proceduresand service standards.
  • Ensure all EcoSure andServesafe standards are followed supporting the direction of yourSous Chefs and Chef de Parties.  Ensure all EcoSurestandard temperature logs are completedaccurately.
  • Maintain proper rotation of productin all chillers to minimizewastage/spoilage.
  • Ensure the cleanliness andmaintenance of all work areas utensils andequipment.
  • Actively share ideas opinions andsuggestions in daily shift briefings.
  • Maintainproper rotation of product in all chillers to minimizewastage/spoilage.
  • Ensure storeroom requisitionsare accurate.
  • Other duties asassigned.
