Scope of the Position

Maintenance Lead will be responsible for the oversight of the Maintenance team members on his/ her shift. Assist Maintenance Manager with day-to-day operations of the department/ assigned work area to ensure Customer requirements are met while ensuring procedures are followed to provide a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

Actively performing job duties as required in Maintenance Technician position Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and program malfunctions in automated systems, automated machinery and stamping presses Modify existing production work cells to improve quality, productivity and ergonomics Perform preventative maintenance Coordinate regular preventative maintenance on daily equipment and facility Communicate with Manufacturing Supervisor’s throughout the shift to understand prioritization of Maintenance calls throughout the shift Understand strengths of each Maintenance team member to be able to adequately assign team members to Maintenance calls Monitor team members progress throughout the shift Main contact for escalation of Maintenance concerns to Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager and/ or General Manager Perform pass down meeting with next shift and daily report to Maintenance Manager

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of three years Maintenance Technician experience working in fast paced, industrial environment Prefer previous Lead/ Supervisor experience, or current employee that has consistently demonstrated the ability to do the job will also be considered
