This position is primarily responsible for the cleaning of glassware and autoclave liquids, cleaning labs, managing the loading dock, rigging of moving equipment, and upkeeping cleanliness of glass machines. Must also be responsible for driving the Hillman Cancer Center van for various requests as needed. 

Job Summary

Performs general laboratory tasks, maintains inventory and equipment and orders supplies and parts, performs quality control testing, and assists other staff.

Essential Functions

Performing general laboratory maintenance. Standing for long periods of time and handling a variety of physically demanding activities. 

Physical Effort

Heavy physical effort required. Requires extensive standing, moving, ascending/descending, bending, lifting, and/or carrying. May be required to move objects over 50 pounds with or without assistance of equipment.
