About the role

Applies effective whole-of-life asset management practices to achieve ongoing safe maintenance and operation of existing physical assets. Maintains the assets and is designed to work within the maintenance management framework and to apply the work management processes whilst performing maintenance work allocated via the RTBS. 

General Accountabilities:

· Applies technical knowledge and insight of practical methods, techniques, and work processes gained through technical training and significant work experience.

· Works with a limited degree of supervision and work is governed by standardized work routines that permit the use of initiative, and typically has an impact through the provision of activities that require technical understanding.

· Can coordinate work of others, but not a formal supervisor.

Essential Accountabilities:

· Supporting Role: Performs maintenance tasks.

· Supporting Role: Identifies defects and provides feedback on asset performance and health via the RTBS, raising notifications and completing work orders.

· Supporting Role: Supports the defect elimination process and contributes to the work management analysis and asset tactics reviews.

· Solely Responsible: Ensures work management activities are undertaken in line with work order / job instructions.

· Supporting Role: Undertakes post maintenance equipment commissioning and cleanup.
